Rocker Revamp

Antiques but make ‘em funky

I’m picking up new hobbies during pandemic stuck/stay-at-home, like auctions, antiquing, and reselling. I bought this bentwood rocker at a local auction with the intention of fixing it up to resell. But with a closer look I noticed too many imperfections so I decided to keep it and experiment. I came up with a vision and made it come to reality. Check out my video documenting the process, found on my youtube channel (subscribe yall).

But if you want to spoil the surprise, keep scrolling to see the before & after pictures….

I used DecoArt Rose Gold Flat Metallic Paint, .5” high density foam, & foiled velvet ivory & toast fabric

What do you think?? I love the result! I am very pleased my vision came to reality.
