México Cozumel Came here for a 2 week house/pet sit. I took care of 3 dogs and 5 cats, plus feeding the street dogs and cats West Coast has rocky beaches Sunset in the Caribbean So glad I brought my hammock-it’s a game changer Once I decided to do the sit I figured it’d be the perfect opportunity to finally get my PADI open water diver certification. It’s been a long-time goal of mine, especially cause my dad was a scuba instructor. PADI Open Water Diver Cert: an online course + test; Day 1-pool day & videos; Day 2- 2 shore dives; Day 3- 2 boat dives & completion Scuba diving is my new passion Highlight of my trip I saw a turtle!!!! After my cert I went on 4 more dives Baby nurse shark Coral Reef Biking Cozumel Loop-separate blog here Bikes-only road on the East coast 40 mile loop Break spot Lionfish Pizza at Cerveceria Punta Sur (lionfish is an invasive species here) Came here for the churros tacos de pescado at Coconuts Carnaval practice tulum breakfast tacos at Taqueria Honorio not getting sunburned Mayan Ruins most instagramable spot in Tulum Cenote Zemway, not as crowded as more popular ones closer to town.
