Anchorage Airport, Alaska

Along with the flowers of the Fireweed, I have reached the peak and blown away signaling the end of summer. I write this last Alaska blog post at the Anchorage airport waiting for my midnight flight back to the lower 48. Tomorrow I will be in sweltering 100 degree weather in Arizona but for now I will reminiscence over my last few weeks spent in my magical place of Homer...

Kevin and Holley's wedding!

Dr. Jane Goodall visited camp so I got to meet her and take her around town!
Dr. Goodall signed my book!

I got to say my goodbyes at camp on my last day in Homer

I look forward to new adventures and great people that I will encounter in this next step of my journey. However, I will always have Homer in my heart and will miss my friends there. To quote Dr. Jane Goodall, "From this point on every step we take is one step closer to us seeing each other again."
